Influence of Bone Quality on the Use of Implant Prostheses with Intermediate Pontic: Three-dimensional Finite Element Method

Abstract Objective The present study aimed to observe the differences in dissipation of main minimum stresses with use a fixed pontic partial prosthesis supported by two regular length implants cortical and medullary bone tissues different qualities. Materials Methods Experimental groups were as follows: QI (two bony qualities consistent type I), QII (identical QI, II), QIII III). All developed analyzed virtual simulation environment using AnsysWorkbench software. Results results showed highest stress concentrations region turns implants, especially apical surrounding most notably those positioned posterior region, supporting molars. In addition, comparing among groups, revealed increasing levels order QII, QIII. Comparing QIII, QI. Conclusion It was concluded that greater disparity occurred comparison between There higher TMiP bone, but considering literature values, it would not pose risks its physiological limits. on III quality may cause unfavorable repercussions for implant bone.
